Bennard Owusu
Bennard Owusu is the Senior Partner/Principal of BWF Solicitors. Bennard qualified initially as a Barrister-At-Law in 1992 and continues to be a member of Good Standing of the Ghana Bar Association.
He converted to be a solicitor of England and Wales in 1999. He has over 26 years of experience in England having worked variously with Advice Centres and Law Firms since 1992. He is an active member of the Ghanaian Community with regular appearances on the radio and in the community talking about the law in practice.
Bennard is an Accredited Panel member of the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation Scheme. The Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation Scheme covers all types of immigration and asylum law work. Members will have shown, to the satisfaction of the Law Society, that they have and will maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of immigration and asylum law, be that in private practice or working for an organisation regulated by the Office for the Legal Services Commissioner. Bennard has advised or assisted individuals or organisations whether to apply for a visa or a work permit for the first time or appeal a refused application.
